Clark Atlanta University's Environmental Justice Resource Center (EJRC), founded in September 1994, seeks to assist, support, train, and educate people of color professionals and grassroots community leaders with the goal of facilitating their inclusion into the mainstream of environmental decision making.
The Sustainability and Global Change Program at Prescott College, a collaborative program with NASA, is one of the first courses to post parts of their program, specifically their Explorations in Sustainability Course, in the NAAGE Virtual Schoolhouse. We hope others will provide similar resources sharing.
The National Wildlife Federation's Campus Ecology Program features campus greening case studies in their Yearbook in an effort to prevent the "reinvention of the wheel." Campus activists who view entries can gain inspiration, as well as insight into effective methods for implementing green projects. Contact info encourages further one-on-one support.
The Earth Charter Campaign, a statement of ethical principles similar to the Uited Nations Declaration on Human Rights intends to guide people and nations towards each other and the Earth to ensure peace, equity and a sustainable future.
The Sustainable Development Job Bank (SDJB) is a free trilingual (English, French, Spanish) resource for employers and job-seekers in sustainable development. Over 70 positions are currently listed. Search for jobs by keyword, location or type of work. The SDJB is one of the features on the Sustainable Development Gateway, which integrates sustainable development information from the "Spinning the Web" Network.
The Blueprint for a Green Campus came out of the Yale Campus Earth Summit & sets a precedent for campus greening.
The International Institute for Sustainable Development has a portion of their web site dedicated to education and "tools for campus decision makers" and it features various Declarations which set a clear precedent for greening the college campus.
The President's Council on Sustainable Development is presenting their Sustainable America Program at a National Town Meeting in Detroit, Michigan.
The Chattanooga Institute is working with various organizations in an effort to green the city of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Their truly innovative approach is visible through the Guiding Principles for Sustainability.
